Orchestra repertory course content and implementation proposal for high school and university students of double bass departments in state conservatories

This study is a scanning model that presents information about the theaching program and application proposal prepared to develop the Orchestra Repertory course for high school and undergraduate students in the State Conservatories of Double Bass Departments. The aim of the study is to introduce the orchestral music from the periods of the Classical Music and to present the students with theoretical and practical information on the important examples chosen from the repertoire. In this context, the aim of the course is to contribute to the development of culturally equipped musicians as well as to increase their technical and musical success levels of the students who whish to take place in the entrance examinations of symphony and opera orchestras after graduation.
