Özet (EN)

Soil is one of the most important factors affecting plant growth in agricultural activities. Therefore, determining the soil structure in the areas where the cultivated plants are grown is a guide in many areas from the selection of the plants to be grown to fertilization applications. In this study, it was aimed to determine the basic productivity characteristics of agricultural soils in the town of Devrekani in Kastamonu province and to create soil distribution maps using geographic information systems. Within the scope of the research, soil samples were taken from 55 different points in approximately 55000 decares of irrigated land in Devrekani district, representing agricultural areas, from 0-30 cm and 30-60 soil depths. Soil fertility analysis (saturation, salt, ph, lime, phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen, organic matter) texture analysis and micronutrient analysis (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Ca, Mg, B, Al) were performed in the soil samples taken. Soil analysis results are classified according to certain criteria and the deficiency, sufficiency or excess levels of nutrients are determined. After the classification of soil parameters, a database was created within the scope of Geographical Information Systems and soil productivity maps were produced. As a result of the research, the productivity of the soils in different regions was determined.
