Data for thisstudy were collected by pull form and foot evaluation form. Those forms wereprepared according to the literatures. SPSS programme was used for statisticalanalaysis. We estabilished that 1% of the patients were evaluated by the nurseat the end of the study and 85% of the patients explained that they didn?ttrained for foot care. Of the educated patients 5.9% were trained by nurse. Allof the patients 31% had foot ulcer and 62.5 % of them didn?t know what time itwas occured. 74.9% of the patients had risk factor for diabetic foot. The mostIUHTXHQWULVNIDFWRUZDVORRVLQJVHQVDWLRQÕQWKHIRRWResearcher had suggested the subject which would have given to diabeticpatients with the help of the result of research.Key Words: Diabetes mellitus, diabetic foot, diabetic foot risk factors,nursing role.
