Abstract (EN)
Firstly, some numerical methods used in the problem solutions introduced and historical developments of these methods are given in this study. Then DQM, PDQM and FDQM are explained and mentioned to the superiority of the other methods. The weighting coefficients of the first and second order derivatives are computed for both PDQM and FDQM. Solution of the two dimensional Helmholtz equation are performed by the PDQM and FDQM. Analytic, PDQM and FDQM solutions of the problems are calculated and compared. While grid node and wave number are steady, problems are calculated by the PDQM and FDQM and compared. Then, wave number is increased while grid node is steady and the effects of the change in wave number to the accuracy are examined. MATLAB codes are prepared for all the calculations in this study are presented in detail in the thesis.
