Blow-up solutions for diffusion equations

ABSTRACT Master Thesis BLOW-UP OF SOLUTIONS FOR DIFFUSION EQUATIONS Yavuz U?URLU Fırat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Mathematics 2005, Page: 34 In this study, blow-up time of solutions for the diffusion equations is considered. In the first chapter, some inequalities and fundamental definitions that are necessary for the remaining chapters of the thesis are presented. In the second chapter blow-up time solutions for diffusion equations are calculated by the Concavity Method and Explicit Inequality Method which are suggested by H.A. Levine [12]. In the third chapter blow-up time for a special diffusion equation are proved by using explicit inequality method.
