Özet (EN)
Nowadays, people have started to need more comfortable products and comfortable working environments. People's quest for comfort led to the development of ergonomic designs. Thanks this developments, digital human modeling method have began to develop. Accordingly, many digital human modeling studies have been done to fulfill this necessity mentioned above. These digital human models have not only improved comfort but at the same time, it enabled other human and product factors such as cost, design time, dimensions, and more to reach the optimum level. The aim of this study is to analyze the ergonomic status of the different chairs used in the offices with digital human modeling method and to interpret the results. This study was considered appropriate due to the increase in the incidence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders. The NIOSH standards pre-embedded in the Jack software, were evaluated and compared the result with respect to BIFMA limits. Thus, It was observed whether the model used is ergonomic or not. The study of digital human modeling have been carried out in an office to reduce the risks by considering incidence metioned before. Softwares and hardwares have been utilized in this study such as Kinect technology, a Microsoft product, which integrated with the JACK software for analyzing. Observations and results showed that DHM programs have the potential of developing the ergonomic products.
