Abstract (EN)
Digital marketing has emerged as one of the prime approaches through which today's new ventures establish and expand their market presence. In this context, phenomenology has emerged as an important method of research that goes beyond numerical measures to uncover the experiences and meanings consumers make of their digital marketing exposures. Digital marketing research in marketing phenomenology studies examines the subjective realities and deeper meanings attached by the consumers to the digital stimuli promoted by the personalized ads, social media campaigns, and online engagement with brands. By bracketing their preconceptions, this approach allows the researchers to authentically capture and interpret the essence of consumer experiences, usually through in-depth interviews or focus groups. It allows marketers to discern subtleties in consumer consciousness, motivations, and emotional responses that may not be reflected in data from more traditional sources. In digital marketing, this enables a far richer insight into how a start-up can create meaningful exchanges and tailor campaigns to improve customer engagement and loyalty. The integration of phenomenological insights into the design of digital marketing strategies for start-ups can make them not merely transactional in nature but, instead, authentic experiences that personally resonate and create much stronger brand connections and competitive differentiations in dynamic online environments. The synthesis of digital marketing with phenomenological inquiry creates a well-rounded framework within which to explore how start-ups can more effectively reach their target audience through an understanding of the subjective consumer journey.
