Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of digital transformation technologies on energy efficiency in businesses. The contributions of digital transformation to energy consumption, costs, and environmental impacts were evaluated. The research was conducted in a steel pipe production facility in Turkey and included the integration of digital transformation technologies through energy audit studies. The findings indicate that digital transformation technologies play a significant role in improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs. Reductions in energy consumption and carbon emissions also demonstrate the benefits of digital transformation for environmental sustainability. The use of digital technologies in businesses is crucial for enhancing energy efficiency and developing sustainable production processes.
