Abstract (EN)
Printmaking discipline has become a dynamic art discipline that broadens its field and gaining new means of expression in the light of technological developments experienced in the historical process. In this context, wood print, engraving, lithography and serigraphy methods have emerged and many artists have contributed to their artistic era in their own means of expression. The last stage of the relationship between with printmaking and technology is the interaction with digital technology and computer. Digital technology elements have triggered new approaches in printmaking discipline as well as in all areas of art and have created digital printmaking. Digital methods have provided new expression possibilities for artists who produce works in this field, either on its own or in combination with other printing techniques. This development has been included in the first part of the study and the diversity of expression possibilities in printmaking has been examined. In the second part of the study, the effect of digital technology on art was questioned while analysing the new norm/state. In this context, the evolution of digital technology and its reflections are addressed, and the types of digital art are discussed. In the last part, the first examples of digitazed printmaking from the 1960s were given, and digital methods used by many important printmaking artists under the effect of technological development after 1980's were discussed. Within this scope, it is aimed to state digitazation process of printmaking that has been hapening.
