Abstract (EN)
Digital technology; It has evolved with the development of computer, communication and internet technologies with the start of managing the production processes of autonomous machines. Digital technology helps the production of robots that communicate with each other, can detect the environment with sensors, and realize the needs by analyzing data. The communication of objects with cyber-physical systems in smart factories enables the production process to be faster, cheaper and more efficient, products and services are targeted for quality and zero defects. Although this technology has not reshaped the world trade order for the first time, the adoption speed of new technologies continues to increase. The transition from analog to digital technologies changes the world beyond recognition in just a few years. In today's competitive environment, businesses have developed many strategies to sustain their assets and countries to achieve the expected efficiency from the industry sector. Turkey, which adapt to the rapid changes is important in terms of international trade in the future. The purpose of this study is to research how these technologies transform global trade and how Turkey will be affected by this transformation in the coming years using the SWOT analysis method. With this method it is examine what opportunities that digital technology will provide and what threats it will create for International Trade in Turkey by doing research.
