Abstract (EN)

The development of digital and artificial intelligence technologies brings about a convergence between different media, leading to the emergence of post-cinematic production and viewing practices. The development of such technologies at a rapid pace also results in the emergence of new skill sets and values that have become necessary in the pre-production, production, and post-production processes of moving images. This situation necessitates the reevaluation of the production methods in the field of Cinema and Television, and consequently, the education in Cinema and Television. In this study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 21 individuals, including experts, academics, and students in the field of Cinema and Television. The interviews focused on the impact of digital and artificial intelligence technologies on the production, viewing, and educational processes in the field of Cinema and Television, addressing the economic, legal, and ethical dimensions of these processes. Additionally, written opinions were obtained from 27 students studying in the Department of Cinema and Television. The study benefits from a flexible and constructive grounded theory approach. The qualitative data obtained through interviews and written opinions were evaluated in the context of identified themes and sub-themes and interpreted within the framework of technology and society theories to develop a comprehensive understanding of technology integration. As a result, an approach proposal titled "Post-Cinematic Experience Design" has been presented for Cinema and Television education in the age of digital and artificial intelligence technologies.
