Abstract (EN)
The digitalization trend, which is increasing its impact on the world, has an impact on the "nation state" as well as on many issues. Because the digital world has opened the door to a very different order compared to the periods when digital technologies were not available. With this effect, the understanding of sovereignty of nation states is changing, the fields of activity of multinational companies are expanding, and thus nation states are transforming in the world. The specific and concrete borders protected by nation states are softening and becoming abstract in some places. In this respect, the scope and nature of the concept of nation state is changing with the same momentum. The digital world has a very different terminology and organization compared to previous orders and claims to establish a completely new order in terms of both conceptual and vital elements. This situation pushes the issue of "dominance" in the world towards change. Technological developments and the direction of these developments seriously affect the transformation of the founding elements of the nation state. In this context, it does not seem entirely possible for nation-state orders that are forced to change as a whole to act conservatively and maintain the current situation in terms of the elements they protect and the powers they have. Because, as digitalization and globalization expand their sphere of influence together and intertwined, an innovative and transformation-based order is advancing with strong steps in terms of the internal and sovereign powers of nation states, the preservation of the country element and geographical borders, and the nation element entering the transformation process based on various technological and ideological approaches. can be seen. In the face of this situation, it should be discussed how and to what extent the nation state will transform and at what rate and conditions it can maintain the current acceptances.
