Özet (EN)

Storytelling in digital culture cannot be thought of independently of digital tools. In this study, it is aimed to deal with "Digitalization, narrative, digital narrative forms in the performing arts" in the context of the interaction of the text with the digital-equipped society and culture. Dedicated to the title of the work, "Narrative Forms in the Digitalized Performing Arts", the theatrical text phenomenon has experienced breaks in every period and in current representations. For this reason, within the scope of the study, from the mechanized society of the industrial revolution to the autonomous relationship of the individual with the machine, from the traditional media process to the new media process, from the formal breaks of the dramatic text to the structure of the post-dramatic text, from the revolts of the post- dramatic representatives against the hierarchical order of the text to the digitalized text phenomenon, the change and transformation process of the text. examined. It has been tried to explain the reflection of the individual interactive structure in the process of transition from Web 1.0 to Web 3.0, the computer systems that emerged with the development of technological tools, to the theatrical text and language structure. However, besides linguistic orientations and verbal language in the digital age society, new concepts: semiotic expression, emoji, technological determinism in language, subconsciously digitized language structure, computer-generated hypertext phenomena in the text are referenced. During the thesis study, in the context of language structuring and staging possibilities, language structure in post-dramatic theatre, history and evolution of narrative, digital storytelling and new narrative forms were determined. During this study, the change process of the text and the staging possibilities with the developing echnology and the effect of the new media on the performing arts were examined. Play structures in which physical space and cyber space are intertwined, telematic narratives, multimedia staging, transmedia narrative, interactive plays layers created with digital tools, screenings attended by mobile devices, social media and new digital public spaces have been researched by making use of foreign and Turkish sources. The performances of the theater teams, the narratives realized through digital technique, the thoughts of theater directors, writers and teams against the screenings created with digital techniques were examined. The subject of the thesis is the production of performing arts in the digitalized society, its reflection in the individual who has gained a digital identity and in the work of art. With the discovery of internet technologies, the position and active structure of the digital culture audience has been defined in the production made in digital environments, where the borders have disappeared and become non-local in art production. Based on the new position of the text in digital culture in the context of theatre/digital text/audience, "What is storytelling? What is digitization? How did it affect the types of art and performing arts? Change of text, experimentation of new techniques and narrative forms in performing arts: what kind of form was created with digital narrative? What are the new narrative spaces born with digitalization? How did it affect the text? How were the reflections of the new storytelling forms formed by digitalization on the games?" It has been tried to reach the answers within the scope of the questions.
