Abstract (EN)

The COVID-19 pandemic, similar to other sectors, has accelerated digital development in the field of participation banking. This study focuses on investigating the effects of the digitalization process on employees working in participation banks. The pandemic has led to technological advancements that facilitate contactless and remote banking transactions. Financial products that align with these technological advancements have been introduced. Participation banks have swiftly adapted to the digitalization activities observed in the banking sector, much like their counterparts. By offering digital products that adhere to Islamic principles, customers can remotely and contactless conduct their banking activities. This transformation has had an impact on the employees of participation banks. The study examines the effects of digitalization on the work lives of employees in participation banks through the administration of a survey. Considering the demographic characteristics in the workplace, the job satisfaction levels of employees have been measured. The relationship between digitalization and job satisfaction of employees was also measured by regression analysis.In the findings, internal and external satisfaction of digitalization was measured. According to the measurement result, digitalization increases the job satisfaction of employees in participation banks. However, this increasing effect was found to be weak.
