Özet (EN)

Serious investments are necessary for set up of geothermal district heating systems. Therefore, the analysis of the problems that are likely to be experienced during the design, setting up and the operation periods have to be carried out in detail. There are differentanalysis methods about the system design and costs. In this investigation, economical speed,Pipelab simulation program and optimum diameter methods are used for analysis of Dikiligeothermal district heating system (DJIS). In the analysis, Dikili region investigated in threeclosed circuits: Isale, Barıskent and Danıstay. In the economical speed method, the diameters of the DJIS?s pipelines are designedusing the economical speed curves. The required flow rate is calculated and the critical circuitanalysis is mad efor the each of the closed circuits. As a result, Isale line (DN 300);230.7 kg/s and 966.193 kPa, Barıskent; 63.5 kg/s and 388.93 kPa and Danıstay line; 167.4kg/s and 415.874 kPa are obtained. The flow rate, velocity and pressure loss analysis ofDJIS?s are made using Pipelab simulation program with diagrams. The problematic lines aredetected and solutions are proposed. As a result of these analyses, the pressure loss at the lastblock connected to the system within the Birlik Kooperatif and the velocity instabilities in themain distribution lines of the Danıstay are identified and solutions proposed. The Isale linewhich has been set up is selected among the DJIS and the optimum diameter method isapplied in the line. The minimum total cost (K) for DN 300 is calculated as 761 629.36YTL/year.
