Abstract (EN)

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder that negatively affects children's academic performance, social interactions, and personal development. The use of visual materials in therapeutic interventions for children with ADHD plays a significant role in treatment outcomes. This study aims to examine the characteristics of these visual materials and their effectiveness in the treatment of children with ADHD. In the first part of the study, the definition, symptoms, and diagnostic methods of ADHD are explained in detail, and in light of this information, it is discussed how visual materials can be adapted to meet the needs of children with ADHD. The following section analyzes the design features of visual tools, emphasizing the importance of these tools in attracting children's attention and enhancing their learning processes. At the core of the research is a comprehensive analysis of various visual materials used in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD. This analysis considers criteria such as capturing children's interest, supporting learning processes, and achieving therapeutic goals. Basic visual features such as color, shape, size, typography, and content are evaluated in terms of the appeal and suitability of the materials. The study assesses how these design elements affect children's attention and participation in the treatment process. Additionally, sample designs aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of existing visual materials are presented. These examples serve as a guide for developing more effective treatment tools. In the conclusion section of the research, the findings are summarized, and suggestions are made to increase the effectiveness of visual materials in ADHD treatment. The ultimate goal of the study is to guide designers and therapists in creating more effective visual aids that can significantly improve therapeutic outcomes for children with ADHD.
