Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of Text-Based Digital Story on Intuitive Teaching of Grammar Subjects. In the research, quantitative and qualitative mixed method, 2x3 (experimental/control groups X pretest/posttest/follow-up test) split plot design was used. Thus, the qualitative and quantitative data obtained simultaneously on the same subject were obtained in a way that supports each other. The quantitative dimension of the research was designed according to the pre-test, post-test, and paired control group design, which are quasi-experimental models. In the study, the "Grammar Achievement Test" developed by the researcher was applied to the experimental and control groups as a pre-test and post-test. After the pre-test applied experimental group, the text and post-text grammar activities, text-based digital story, and grammar subjects in the textbook converted into digital stories were applied, and the post-test was applied. The pre-test applied control group read the text in the course book with the method specified in the current Turkish Curriculum, the end-of-text grammar activities were carried out, and the post-test on the grammar subject was applied. The effect of the text-based digital story on grammar achievement was determined by analyzing the pre-test and post-test results of the experimental and control groups. After the application, the interview with the experimental group students on the effect of the digital story in the lesson and its effect on grammar success constitutes the qualitative dimension of the research. The results obtained from the student visits, which were evaluated as one of the pre-test, post-test and test, were evaluated, the test and control group tests were determined in a specific user (if the main effect size is 60) among the Mann Whitney U Test scores, and the results taken as the basis by the students were evaluated. positive results can be obtained in learning grammar subjects.
