An investigation of the opinions of Religious Culture Ethics teachers towards emotional education in religious education

Our research aims to understand the views of DKAB teachers on this subject by focusing on the role emotion education in the religious education process.Emotion education is an imporlant element that can help students develop their understanding of emotional intelligence, moral values, and religion. The sample of the research consist of 21 Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge teachers selected from different age groups working in different types of public schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Afyonkarahisar city center. Qualitative research model was used in this study, which aimed to determine the views of DKAB teachers about emotion education in religious education and teaching. The interview technique, which is one of the types of interview technique, was used in the research. The finding reveal that the majority of teachers believe that emotion education plays an important role in religious teaching. The results highlight the importance of raising awareness of DKAB teachers about amotion education and providing more support in this area.
