Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of a geometry education based on the use of dynamic geometry software in solving given construction problems on the development of geometric concepts of pre-service mathematics teachers and the teaching experiment model, one of the qualitative research approaches, was used. The study with pre-service mathematics teachers was conducted in three stages: pre-teaching episode clinical interview, teaching episodes and post-teaching episode clinical interview. Similar questions were used in the interviews and all stages were recorded. Thematic content analysis was used to analyze the data and the data obtained from the video recordings were analyzed and interpreted under themes. Based on the findings of the study, this research offers a new perspective to the literature by emphasizing that solving construction problems through dynamic geometry software is an effective method in geometry education and an important tool especially in developing relational understanding. At the same time, determining the role of solving construction problems in dynamic environments in the process of learning and teaching geometry is important in terms of reflecting the necessity of further research in this field and its implementation by teachers to the literature.
