Abstract (EN)
In this study, the frequency independent values of impedance functions are considered in the analysis of dynamic soil-structure interaction problems for both surface-supported and embedded foundations on elastic half space and layered strata. The dynamic response of the superstructure which is determined by dynamic magnification factor is also investigated depending on stiffnesses of local soil and depth of layered media for a wide range of excitation frequency. A comprehensive parametric analysis and systematic calculations are accomplished with different controlling parameters to evaluate the structural response of the vibrating soil-structure system under dynamic loadsKey Words: Soil-structure interaction, Impedance functions, Dynamic magnification factor
