Abstract (EN)
Dinar, which is in the first order earthquake area, has been the centre of destructive earthquakes for centuries. The latest 1st October 1995 earthquake with the magnitude of 6.1 (M=6.1) caused a lot of damage and death. The studies to guess the earthquakes beforehand have a vital importance so in this study it is aimed to identify the tectonic movements of Dinar fault by geodesic works. For this reason in the centre of Dinar and surroundings 3 routes were determined and 172 benchmarks were based on the route. To keep the benchmarks for a long time they were stabilized by concrete blockage around the steel nails. On the first route there are 44 benchmarks and it?s 1689 m long, On the second route there are 63 benchmarks and it?s 1675 m long, and on the third route there are 65 benchmarks and it?s 1054 m long. In order to identify the tectonic movements a three period indication was carried out with precision leveling. First period indications were between the dates of 1st August-15th August 2006, second period indications were between the dates of 7th April-10th April 2007 and the third period indications were between the dates of 28th August- 30th August 2007.The indications were realised by using Topcon DL-101C digital level and Topcon levels as return. Some altitudes were carried to the test benchmarks on the route from the vertical check benchmarks in the city centre. Through the Topcon GTS 702 horizontal angle and horizontal distance readings, the situation of the routes was identified.During the return indications the precision of digital level was fixed to 0.04 level and high precision indication rates were obtained. The precision obtained from the indications on the allowing level stated in BÖHYY. The routes are of the first-order class II standarts of vertical control benchmarks identified by Federal Geodetic Control Committee, USA.In the first period because the legs of levels were misreplaced, it caused this period to be out of evaluation. Because only the second and the third periods were considered, all the comments were built on the 6 month period movement of the fault. New measurements about the other periods related to the project will contribute the determination of the deformation of the fault.
