Abstract (EN)

The discourse of "behaviors can be learned by observing" put forward by social cognitive learning theory has strengthened the idea that learning through observation can also be effective in gaining religious behaviors. This idea had an impact on the application of social cognitive learning theory to religious behavior. Therefore, this study is an evaluation of the processes followed in the acquisition of religious behaviors in the light of social learning. This research tries to reveal whether it is possible to acquire religious behaviors with social cognitive learning theory by problematizing it at the theoretical level. In addition, this study aims to contribute to the religious development of the individual as well as the social cognitive learning theory to gain religious behavior. While doing this, it is aimed to ensure that the person develops positive behaviors, acquires moral skills, and avoids all kinds of negative behaviors, taking into account the basic developmental characteristics. In addition, in this study, the ways and methods of gaining the attitudes and behaviors encouraged by the religion of Islam are sought with the rapidly advancing technology and the changing methods accordingly. The study is in the form of literature review, and since it will progress theoretically, the literature method is included. The research revealed that religious behaviors can be learned through role models by adapting the social cognitive learning theory, which draws attention to the importance of role-models, to the field of religion. As a matter of fact, this study aims to provide a conceptual framework for applied research in the field of social cognitive learning theory and religion.
