Fatima event from the perspective of history of religion

In 1917, in Fatima town of Portugal suggested that an apparition could make a different orientation in Christian religious history occurred. The Quest, basically aims to investigate the suggested apparition in Fatima by the perspective of the history of religions with its historic and actual dimensions. In this context, the suggested apparitions socio-cultural context and its effects on particularly Portugal society, generally on Christian religions history are investigated. As a result of the research, it?s appeared that Jesus and Mary?s visions are have an important role in the Church history. In variant eras, people have claimed that they had seen virgin Mary and Jesus. Mary apparitions provided, particularly in our research place Portugal society, generally in places of its occurrence, made the religious diversity that continue during a long time to centralize around Mary. Yet, suggested apparitions provided important results in relation to emerge a new religious revitalization in the Christian world.
