Abstract (EN)

In this study, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), carbon (C) element levels and nutrient contents, SLA (Specific Leaf Area), LMA (Leaf Mass per Area) and N and P resorption were investigated in Diospyros kaki L. which has a strong antioxidant property and is cultivated in the Eastern Black Sea Region. The research was carried out at four different locations where Diospyros kaki was grown within the provincial borders of Trabzon. From these chosen locations, leaf samples were taken regularly in May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. Additionally, soil samples taken from a depth of 0-20 cm from each localities. Soil N, P and C analysis were determined. There were significant differences (P < 0.01) in N (%) concentration and N (g/dm2) content values in terms of localities. N, P and C (%) concentrations values showed significant differences among months. Similarly, there were notable differences (P < 0.01) in N and P (g/dm2) values depending on months. N and P resorption efficiency values were below stated boundaries at only 796 m. N and P resorption proficiency values showed differences between localities (P<0.01 for N, P<0.05 for P, respectively). The highest SLA and LMA values were in May and December, respectively.
