A dishwasher basket plate holder production machine design, production and automation

In this study, the design, production and the automation of the machine, which enables the production of fixed and recumbent plate holders in baskets used in dishwashers, has been made in an one machine. The design of the machine is made to operate full automatic. Design stages and the points to take into consideration are detailed in this study. The software of the designed machine is written in TIA Portal Pragramme and checked in Siemens ET200S programmable logic controller configuration. The software is made to control of the moving parts and the process related parameters in the machine can be done through the control screen. The electrical and control scheme is designed according to this. In this study, figures and tables which are related to the software and electrical schematics are included. The designed machine is produced and operated. Measurements of the products are produced by operating. According to the measurements results, the performance evaluation have been done by the quality analysis and monitoring of machine cycle process. Also, in this study, solid model design images, the analysis about the process, hardware selections and photos of the machine's operating state are included. As a result of the study, in the current situation, semi-automatic and manual plate holders are produced with a single machine and fully automatic. According to the results, exportable products without equivalent appear. At the end of the study, patent application has been made to protect the intellectual property rights in the absence of similar machine and a counterpart at home or abroad.
