Abstract (EN)
This research is done in order to reveal how music technology education is shaped around the World and in Turkey. Accordingly, music technology curriculums are analyzed in an interdisciplinary context. Four universities that provide education for music technology on the bachelor's degree are included into the research. Georgia State University and Tennessee State University from abroad, and Yıldız Teknik University and İnönü Üniversity are chosen from Turkey as the samples of this study. According to the results of the research; it has come out that the music technology education programs are prepared by gathering classes like basic music education, music technology and various social – cultural related classes; and music technology major area courses are shaped with an interdisciplinary point of view, by being supported with the classes from the fields such as physics, electronics and computer sciences.
