Web based education for gears

Internet is the most important product of the computer technology. The fastdevelopments of the new technologies and the Web-Based Education Systemshave increased the importance of giving courses especially to universitystudents. In this study, the literature of web based education was searched andweb based education of gears subject which is a subject of machine elementswithout time and place restrictions, teaching and learning of this subject ininternet environment were aimed. As a result, the students have been providedto learn the subject for basic knowledge design together with their lecturer orthemselves without time and place restrictions.
