Abstract (EN)
Mesnevi is a versification made of verses rhymed among themselves and used to describe generally long topics. However, it has been known that mesnevis are not made of large volumes, and they have also been written. In our work, we have elaborated on texts that we consider as ?short mesnevis?. In published collected poems, we have come across the first example of short mesnevis in the XIV century.Short mesnevis don?t have a standard place among the collected poems. Mesnevis taking place in Dibace have the largest share.Short mesnevis are usually written with titles. Short mesnevis with special titles have the largest share among short mesnevis with titles.There is no limitations in number of verses of short mesnevis, which are a type of versification made of verses. They could be written in any desired verse number and length. However, short mesnevis are usually written in 2-50 verses.Verses widely used in short mesnevis are by the order of mefâ?îlün mefâ?îlün fe?ûlün; fâ?ilâtün fâ?ilatün fâ?ilün; fe?ilâtün mefâ?ilün fe?ilün of the aruz verse.Short mesnevis written in the XIV-XVI century don?t contain sectionings generally.Various topics have been studied in short mesnevis. Mesnevis focusing on religious topics have the largest share among these subjects.Short mesnevis are usually written without appellations.Key words1.Verse style2. Mesnevi3. Short mesnevis4. Dibace5.
