The purpose of this research is to determine the improvements in the students` reading, reading comprehension and fluent reading skills owing to the application of reciprocal teaching strategies to the fourth grade students in Turkish language lesson; to identify the students` reading attitudes and both the students` and the teachers` opinions about reciprocal teaching strategies.Key Words: Reciprocal teaching strategies, reading attitude, reading skills.
