Abstract (EN)

The present research is a field work to measure the effieciency of religious education implemented in Time-bound Quran course under Department The Presidency of Religious Affairs, for seamless eight month. In addition it aims to measure the sufficiency of education materials, to try out the contribution to education, to profile students and teachers and to present a solution by figuring out the problems of these courses.In this research the sampling was randomly selected 30 Quran course active in four central town and two downtown in Adana under Department of Religious Affairs. A survey was applied to 41 teachers and 591 students who study in these courses.In this survey, 25 questions were asked to students and 38 questions were asked to teachers. The results are evaluated by statistical analysis program SPSS For 0 Windows 17. ?percentage, frequency distribution, Independent t test and kruskal-wallis?, tests.At the end of the research, it is concluded that teachers are not enough at improving themselves and pedagogoic formation and following the technonolgy and improvements at education. It is also concluded that the course books contain unappreciated parts and the physical conditions some of courses are not enough for education. It is detected that the students couldn?t attend the classes regularly and there could be misunderstanding and misteaching problems because the students are mostly married women and from middle & low income segment and not well educated.Keywords: The Presidency of Religious Affairs, Time-bound Quran course, Religious education.
