Examination of the contributions of the official institutions to the education of virtual arts with art activities in the province of Diyarbakır

The purpose of the research is to examine the contributions of the official institutions in the province of Diyarbakır to the education of virtual arts with the virtual art activities. The education of virtual arts that these institutions provide within the non-formal education and the art activities that they organize, their approaches and equipment and issues have been tried to be detected in general terms. The model of research is formed by the multiple case study method of the qualitative research models. It has been collected data within the way of interview, observation and document examination. The research involves Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, Yenişehir Municipality, Sur Municipality, Kayapınar Municipality, University of Dicle and Diyarbakır Headship of Culture and Tourism. The interviews have been done with relevant persons in the institutions and analyzed in the way of descriptive analyzes. The results have been evaluated and interpreted as percentage by observing the ateliers and classes, if they exist, that educations have been given in. The activities have been examined and the results have been tried to be evaluated with the document examinations. It has been landed up that the institutions incorporate and support the virtual art educations. It has been understood that the institutions decide the applications according to the background of an institution and sufficiency of instructors when they plan the educations. It has also been understood that there has been some background lack and instructors have had some issues about non-formal education's authentic approaches and activities have been lack of variety and they have been not open to co-operation among institutions and besides, the institutions have been supportive about overcoming the deficiencies and aware of the benefits of the art education and contributed to the art education with the activities they have done.
