Determination of Diyarbakir's in some district (Silvan, Kulp, Hazro) genetic sources of local pear (Pyrus communis L.) varities grown

This research was carried out on the local pear varieties which grown Diyarbakır's Silvan, Kulp, Hazro district and their villages. In 2016, 32 fruit sample were taken from the local pear varieties of fruit which has quality and high market value and people favored. Pomological characteristics of phenological observations were made on selected fruit trees and were examined on collected fruit trees. The bud burst, tthe beginning of flowering, the full flowering, the blooming end date, the flowering time and TÇHS (from full bloom to harvest the number of days), the harvest date were determined as phenological characteristics. The fruit weight were found between 39,52-263,12 g, the fruit size between 38,03-88,77 mm, the width of fruit between 40,85-76,97 mm, , the fruit stem length between 19,87-50,10 mm, the fruit stalk thickness between 2,45-7,98 mm, the width of core between 2,20-6,14 mm, the length of core between 7,20-12,26 mm, the amount of water soluble solids of the fruit between % 10,00-24,90; the titratable acidity between % 0,04-0,6; the juice pH between 4,07-5,26 on pomological characteristics of investigated varieties. Besides, the grittiness and the taste properties were determined on the rind and pulp colour of the the local pears.
