Investigation of the incidence of foot diseases in cattle in Diyarbakır and its region

Investigation of the Incidence of Foot Diseases in Cattle in Diyarbakır and its Region This study was aimed to determine the incidence of foot diseases in cattle in Diyarbakır and its region. The study material consisted of a total of 2592 head of cattle of different breeds, age, sex and body weight in 60 enterprises. The animals were examined for hoof structures and diseases according to their breed characteristics, barn floors, age and body weight. In the examination performed, 596 of 2592 cattle had foot disease and 43 had foot deformation. As a result, the prevalance of foot diseases in Diyarbakır and its surroundings was %23 and the prevalance of foot deformation was %1.66. Keywords: Foot Disease, Diyarbakır Region, , Incidence, Cattle
