Usability of hazelnut oil ester as alternative in diesel engine

The fact mat petroleum products become less and less causes investigation of renewable energy sources. Vegetable oils have been used as alternative fuel in diesel engines. In this work, it has been obtained hazelnut oil ethyl ester from raw hazelnut and mixed with diesel oil as definite proportions. This mixture fuels obtaining have been used in single cylinder, four - stroke cycle direct injected diesel engine and investigated influences of this mixture fuels on engine performance and exhaust gas emissions. Consequently, it has been stated that mixtures of hazelnut oil ethyl ester with diesel oil will be used in diesel engine after fuel injection system is regulated depending on fuel type.
