Abstract (EN)

In this study, the molecular identification of the Ligula intestinalis (Pseudophyllidea, Cestoda) species, which is protected as a material in the ethyl alcohol environment, was carried out on the COI gene sequence. The genetic data obtained confirmed the taxonomic position of the Ligula intestinalis species, which was diagnosed according to anatomical and morphological characteristics. In this process, COIA2 and COIB2 primers were used. primers were used in this process. 480 bp partial certain nucleotides of the COI gene was sequenced directly from each sample. Except for a C nucleotide in a sample, no nucleotide variation was detected in the COI gene sequences. In terms of COI aligned nucleotide sequences, a difference of 7% was found between the L. intestinalis isolates (MK286929-MK286934) from this study and an AF153910.1 L. intestinalis isolate. Ligula intestinalis. The present data showed that L.intestinalis gDNAs fixed and preserved in ethanol for a long time were not damaged and routinely reproduced.
