The Musical study of Mesudiye folk songs that stay on "do"

In this thesis we have studied on Mesudiye Folk Songs which stay on "do". This thesis has got four main pasts. The first part is about the general characteristics of the Mesudiye Folk Songs and their origins. The second part is the indroduction and is mainly on the historical and geographical structure of this area. The third part studies the folk songs which stay on "do" from musical point of view and these songs have been analysed. In the fourth part, the range of the folk songs, the que s t ion- answer relation of these songs, music senten ces that have been used in these songs, the notes that have been mostly used and the motives of these songs have been mentioned. - v -
