Technical and economical research of energy recycling at natural gas pressure reducing stations

It?s certain that energy is necessary in the human?s daily life. To use unconsciously this important need will bring lots of unfoavourable effect with itself. It?s so important to use energy conscious and effective as much as we need it In this thesis, I have studied on a tecnique which is applied to use energy efficient. I search is it possible or not to recover energy from the pressure reducing station in the course of we consume energy in the compression station to transport the natural gas to the usage points along the high pressure natural gas transmission line. Also I search this tecnique?s technical and economical etude. First of all, we examine natural gas datas on the world and in Turkiye. nform will be given about Botas?s high pressure natural gas lines in Turkiye. Later on we search compression and pressure reducing stations which is indispensable to operate the natural gas transmisson lines. Then we examine a system which is available now by giving information about radial turbine machines. Lastly we search availability by determining the reducing stations which we can apply this system around the country.
