Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, the natural stones which would be used for building and covering, should prove a definite standardization and classify depend on their quality check processes according to their usage areas. In parallel to the export of natural stone of late years, determinative standards about the quality are demanded from the producers.In this study, thickness, dimension and setsquare valuation of the plates and tablets, which are produced by TEM-MER MARBLE A.Ş. are investigated and determined convenience of these standards; EN TSE 1468 `Natural Stones ? Crude Tablets ? Their Properties? EN 12057 `Natural Stone Products ? Modular Tiles ? Their Properties?, EN 12058 `Natural Stone Products ? Covering Stones For Floors and Stairs ? Their Properties?, EN 12059 `Natural Stone Products ? Dimensional Products ? Their Properties?, EN TSE 1469 `Natural Stone Products ? Tablets for Covering ? Their Properties?.
