Respected green fund to nature: World and Turkey applications

Today, all environmental problems have reached a dimension that individuals, businesses and states cannot remain irrelevant. At this point, the fact that only the measures taken is not sufficient has led different circles to follow more effective paths. In this sense, the financial world contributes to environmental awareness by start to follow environmental policies in their activities, and by developing various products. With this study, the concept of "green finance" is discussed and the products developed by examining the fields of activity both in the world and in our country are examined. The study also discusses environmental problems and what problems can be found with the products developed, the policies developed in the world and in our country for this purpose, the relationship between green economy and green finance, investment circles and nature the advantages of the "green finance" tools have been tried to be examined. Although there are not many academic studies about green finance in our country, the world and our country literature have been reviewed and it is aimed to recognize the green products currently used in the world. Turkey has green finance opportunities in terms of agriculture, industry, tourism and population. For this reason, both the private sector and the public sector have to take measures and implement elements to prevent dependence on energy; the prevention of irreversible destruction in the fields of agriculture and tourism. Finally, this study proposes solutions for both the private sector and the public sector. Key words: Green Finance, Green Financial Products, Sustainable Finance, Sustainable Development.
