Abstract (EN)

The economic, politic and social effects of international capital flows hasrapidly grown and in particular foreign direct investments has become a significantcapital flow among the other capital flows. Since these type of investments bring newtechnologies, new management systems and new opportunuties, recently it has beenrequired not only by developing countries, but also by developed countries.Many macro transformations such as, new working conditions created by newtechnologies, distinct ability levels, distinct skilled labour demands and newapproaches between social parts have made working and industrial relationshipcompetitive.This thesis analyzes the effects of foreign direct investments on employmentand wages in developing countries and Turkey.
