Abstract (EN)

In this study, the subject of building performance evaluation with linear analysis methods included in Chapter 15 of the Turkish Building Earthquake Regulation was examined. For this, 2 applications were carried out. In the first application, the analysis of the 3-storey carcass frame consisting of beams and columns was performed using the equivalent earthquake load method. Afterwards, a performance analysis was made according to Chapter 15. In our second application, the 2-storey reinforced concrete structure was examined, earthquake calculations were made with linear calculation methods and the damage types of reinforced concrete structural elements were determined. Afterwards, the earthquake performance was determined according to Chapter 15. SAP2000 and Xtract V.3.08 programs have been used for analysis.
