Özet (EN)
Drosophila suzukii Matsumara 1931 (Diptera: Drosophilidae) is an invasive species and quarantine pest for fruits in the world. It was first determined in our country in 2014. In this study; distribution of D. suzukii, host, adult population dynamics, damage status, effects of different temperatures (10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 15/25, 25/35 °C) on pests in different laboratory conditions and preference for laying eggs of females on fruit ripening period were investigated in the fruit orchards of the Eastern Mediterranean Region (Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş and Hatay) in 2017-2019. Results of study revealed that distribution of D. suzukii in the orchards of Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye, Kahramanmaraş,Hatay and damage on apples, blackberries, mulberries, strawberries, apricots, plums, cherries, peaches, nectarines, figs, vineyards, citrus and jujube fruits were determined in traps. Hatching of adults were determined in cultured cherry, strawberry and mulberry fruits. Population dynamics which were carried out nectarines and cherry orchards in Adana and Mersin provinces, the population of D.suzukii increased in spring, autumn and fruit ripening and harvesting time. Damage was occurred in cherry orchards at 2%, 62% in first and second year, respectively. Specifically, molasses was determined to be an alternative attractant for D. suzukii to apple vinegar. It was determined that the most appropriate development temperature for D.suzukii was 20 and 25 °C, decreasing the population at 30 °C and it preferred red (60%) and dark red fruit (80-90%) ripening period in cherry fruit for laying eggs in the laboratory conditions.
