Abstract (EN)
Turkish Literature has been under the influence of West since Tanzimat Period. This in fluence formsone of the basicprinciples in our literature from then on. What makesthisprincipleopposite is thet wodifferentways of life simultaneously. It is possible to see these differences in Mustafa Kutlu'sstories. Also, Mustafa Kutlu doesn't do withthesechallengesandtheirreflects on cities. He alsomirrors Anatolia' s countrysidesuccesfully. Inthiswork "The West Outside Us and Us" ratherthanthesechallenges, he analysesthepenetration of West intooursociety.
