Özet (EN)

SUMMARY Morphological, Palynological and Cytological Taksonomy of Doronicum L. (Compositae) Species Distributed in the East Black Sea Region In this study, distributed in the East Black Sea Region, 9 Doronicum L. (Compositae) species were examined morphologically, palynologically and cytologically. Plant materials were collected from Trabzon, Giresun, Artvin and Gümüşhane in the periods of their vegetations between 2002 and 2004. The collected plants are protected as herbarium and stock materials. Morphological investigations were determined from herbarium and stock materials. Capitulas of the plants were collected for the pollen investigations. Cytological investigations were performed on permanent slides prepared from actively growing root tips. As a result of morphological investigations, one new record (D. bithynicum subsp. bithynicum) for the flora of the study region were added. During anatomical study, cross sections were taken from the roots and stems breadthly. And from the leaves of the species, cross sections were taken breadthly and also superficially. In this study, compared anatomy of the determined species are investigated firstly. It is seen that the anatomical properties of these species are similar with the typical anatomy of the dicotyledons. But, some anatomical differences are found among the species. Pollens of Doronicum species investigated by Wodehouse Method with light microscope and the differences are found. The somatic chromosome numbers of examined 9 Doronicum species were counted. Chromosome numbers of 6 of these species were determined for the first time. The mophological, anatomical and pollen results obtained from this study were used in numerical taxonomy firstly. The obtained results are not sufficient to identificy the species but, the pollen properties are more important than the others investigated in this study. Key Words: Doronicum, Compositae, Systematic, Anatomy, Pollinology, Chromosome Number, Cluster Analysis, Principal Component Analysis VIII
