Abstract (EN)
Many cultures that had existed and have been existed in the history of all humanity; They naturally interacted with each other for various reasons such as economic, social and geographical reasons. It is seen that the cultural contacts which are more possible to follow with the writing almost innumerable for the Turks living in the vast steppes. It can be said that they had more specific contacts with their neighboring cultures such as China, Tibet and Persia. The Turks had many mutual relations with the Greeks as well as with the cultural areas they were early neighbors. The acquaintance of Turks and Greeks dates back to ancient times. While talking about the communities that they will be descended from in a canon that can be started araound 500 B.C. with Herodotos, in the beginings they were indirectly pointed out and then occupied a large part of the texts as a direct subject. In terms of philology, almost no one paid attention to the issue, especially language contact, and often even did not take it into account. The fact that the Rome, or at least the eastern part, continues a long written tradition with a centralistic ( = oικουμένη ) approach, which will be used for more settled and long term uses, and which finds its characteristic origins in the Aegean region ıt has caused many records to emerge. Almost undoubtedly, elements from other languages were also recorded. Besides of these records, Turks and the Altaic elements that it may be included in were chosen as the main subject of our thesis.
