Abstract (EN)

It is unfolded with scientific researches that when plants are examined on researches upon primer and seconder metabolisms, they are so beneficial on both the process of treatment the ilnesses and the recovery of wounds. In this research, the species of bryophytes named as Grimmia pulvinata (Hedw.), Pleurochaete squarrosa (Brid.), Bryum capillare (Hedw.), Grimmia orbicularis (Bruch),Oxyrrhynchium hians (Hedw),Homalothecium lutescens (Hedw.),Hypnum cupressiforme (Hedw.), Palustriella falcate (Hedw.) are applied with disk diffusion test on the point of 5 gram positive and 7 gr negative bacteria and 3 yeast, on 15 strains. At the result of the tests, some studied bryophytes such as Oxyrrhynchium hians (Hedw), Homalothecium lutescens (Hedw), Hypnum cupressiforme (Hedw.),Palustriella falcate (Hedw.) have shown antimicrobial Activity but it is determined that other species have not given the result. The results taken from the antimicrobial activity against the stap Staphylococcus aureus bacteria are quite important that is because this bacteria is a dangerous pathogen.
