Abstract (EN)
There is a cyclic relationship between health and economicdevelopment. Since economic development results in assigning moreresources to health sector, it is possible to achieve higher health level.Furthermore in communities constituted of healthy people it is feasible toproduce more and thus achieve higher development level.The aim of the study is to determine the views of hospital managerswho work in the metropolitan area of Ankara about realizebility of issues thatshould be given priority to basic goals and politics of Turkish health systemdefined in the 9th Development Plan and its precaution. The study covers allhospital managers who work in the metropolitan area of Ankara andapplication questionnaire was communicated to 576 persons and 424 ofthem turn backed. The data obtained from application of questionnaire wastransferred to computer, and to test of research hypothesis it is appliedindependent samples t- test and Kruskal Wallis Variance Analysis.In the study it was founded that there are statistically significantdifferences in importance level given by managers about priorities andprecautions identified in the 9th Development Plan in terms of managerialposition and activity type of hospital where managers work. The study wasconcluded by recommendations related that the opinions of managers who playan important role in health sector should be included in the developmentprocess.Key Words: health services planning, development plans, hospitalmanagers.
