Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effect of filler ratio on the properties of self-compacting concrete (SCC) was investigated. For this purpose, stone dust as powder material and hyper plasticizer (HP) as chemical admixture were used in the production of SCC. 8 mixes of SCC were produced in total by using the contents of 0,60%, 0,75% and 1,00% HP in the SCC mixtures. The amount of binding agent and the water/cement ratio were kept fixed in all the produced SCCs. Unit weight, T50 time, flow, V funnel and L box tests were performed as for fresh properties on the produced SCCs. Following the fresh concrete tests, cubic specimens at dimensions of 10x10x10 cm were obtained. The cubic specimens were cured during a period of 3, 7 and 28 days in the curing pool at the curing room of the laboratory. Unit weight and compressive strength tests were carried out at the mentioned ages on the cubic specimens. The produced SCCs were compared with both the control concrete and each other in terms of test results. Comparing the obtained test results with the EFNARC criteria it was determined whether the produced concretes feature the SCC properties or not. It was observed that SCCs produced with natural aggregate are showing much more the SCC feature when compared with those produced by using artificial aggregate. On the other hand, it was determined that the compressive strength of the SCCs produced with the artificial aggregate is generally higher when compared with those produced with natural aggregate.
