Investigation of seasonal changes of mineral nutrients in olive tree (Olea europaea L.) during "on" cropped season

The aims of this study are to determine the seasonal chances in mineral nutrient concentrations of the leaves of Manzanilla olive tree at the Experimental Station of Agriculture Faculty, University of Adnan Menderes, Aydın, Turkey and to determine the most appropriate leaf sampling date for this cultivar in Aydın region. For this purpose 30 olive trees grown under rainfed condition without fertigation and pest control in ?on? cropped season were selected and leaf and soil sanples were taken monthly.The leaf analysis showed that the most appropriate leaf sampling time is October for the Manzanilla olive cultivar grown in Aydın under rainfed conditions.Key Words :Olive, Manzanilla, nutrient elements, seasonal changes.
