Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of fiber addition and vacuum treatment in concrete exposed to freeze-thaw effect. With this purpose, steel, polyester, polipropilen fiber and polipropilen wool were used as concrete support additions. While steel fibers were used as short in "3 cm" and long in "6 cm", synthetic fibers were used as short in "2.5 cm" and long in "5 cm". In the production stage of the samples, the concrete was treated with vacuum in the fresh form as a parameter of the experimental study. The fiber-added, vacuumed and non-vacuumed concrete samples were exposed to freezing-thawing after 28 days. After every 50 cycles, main horizontal frequency change values were measured. With the main horizontal frequency change values obtained, reduction amounts in the dynamic modulus of elasticity and the durability factor were determined. Consequently, it was found that fiber addition and vacuum treatment created a positive effect in concretes exposed to freezing-thawing.
